E2077 Supplier Flow Down Requirements

This document establishes product assurance requirements for all products and services ordered under an Elite Turning and Machining purchase order to assure that products and services conform to required levels of quality and reliability.

The supplier is required to notify Elite Turning and Machining of any significant changes such as notification of organizational changes, product and/or process changes, changes of suppliers or changes of manufacturing facility location within 48hrs.

 

General Notes:

  • All details are to be manufactured within the tolerance designated on the drawings. If parts deviate from drawing specification, the supplier must fill out a “Supplier Deviation Request” and submit to the Elite Quality Department. A form is available upon request. If possible, a deviation will be granted. (A copy of approved form should be delivered with the supplier packing list or parts.)
  • The supplier shall have a management system, as appropriate for inspection, verification, and documentation of the first production article if required and any special requirements, critical items or key characteristics.
  • Must retain documented information for a minimum of 5 years or as noted from customer.
  • Changes to approved processes or products must be submitted to Elite Turning and Machining prior to implementation.
  • The supplier shall implement and maintain a system for controlling non-conforming material. Parts determined to be scrap shall be altered or rendered useless before disposal.
  • All suppliers must effectively flow down to external suppliers the applicable requirements including customer requirements.
  • All suppliers must ensure that persons are:
    • competent and qualified as required.
    • aware of their contribution to product or service conformity.
    • aware of their contribution to product safety.
    • aware of the importance of ethical behavior.

Counterfeit Goods

  • Without limiting the foregoing, Seller will not provide to Buyer any Goods that are, or Seller reasonably suspects are, or contain an unauthorized copy, imitation, substitute, or modified component which is represented as genuine (such Goods, “Counterfeit Goods”). If Buyer discovers that Seller has provided a Counterfeit Good, Buyer will provide notice to Seller of such Counterfeit Good. If Seller discovers or reasonably suspects that Seller has provided a Counterfeit Good, Seller will provide notice to Buyer of such Counterfeit Good. Promptly upon the occurrence of either of the events specified in this paragraph, Seller will, at Seller’s sole expense, replace such Counterfeit Goods with a Good that is not a Counterfeit Good.
  • Counterfeit, or suspect counterfeit parts are considered nonconforming product and are
    controlled to prevent reentry into the supply chain.
  • For all suspect counterfeit product, GIDEP must be contacted for additional information.
